Aparna Asokan, based in Bangalore, is a certified PoSH practitioner, lawyer, and an expert on sex discrimination law. Aparna completed her B.A.LL.B (Hons) in 2017 from the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi. She also earned a Traditional LLM from the New York University School of Law, gaining an international perspective to her expertise in areas such as Sex Discrimination and Human Rights Law. In 2022, Aparna received the National Gender Fellowship, a fully funded research fellowship to pursue a study on the gendered impact of remote working.
As an empanelled external member of the Internal Committees of multiple organisations, she uses her expertise to actively contribute to creating safe, inclusive, and compliant workplaces. Aparna has conducted numerous PoSH awareness training sessions and has developed employee training modules, further solidifying her reputation as a trusted authority in the field.
